need a pic
i am working on a 67 mustang with the original 200ci engine, that I've just rebuilt, with a single barrel carb. I can't seem to fully recall how to connect the mechanism (connected to the carb) that transferes the motion from the gas pedal to the carburator throttle. I've got it to accelerate but it doesn't come back to idle when I let go of the gas pedal, I think I'm missing a retract spring, but I don't know where it would go. This has me questioning whether Its right to begin with
Can any one send a pic of how they have it set up on their engine...
Thanks

RE: need a pic
If you look close at the exhaust pipe flange, you will see a small hole that should face towards the front of the car. A spring runs from this hole up to the belcrank. Sorry, my lap top is buried right now, so no way to post a picture.
Maybe search the threads for I6 posts.
Good luck.

RE: need a pic
This is from my dual, but perhaps it'll help you out in some way. I couldn't tell you if it's "correct", but it works just fine for me (previous owner had quite an imagination sometimes).
Good luck.

RE: need a pic
thanks guys, I see now, where my spring is missing. But, i can't quite see where the stablaizer bar connects to, it goes back toward the firewall, but the image is a bit dark to see what it connects to...
