um sure, but they make a 67 shelby style for the 65/66 too! as long as it's a functioning scoop why not? (if that's what you like)

IMHO form follows function,
Your just saying that to justify driving a '71 mustang (zing) [8D]

form follows function i got flared wheels arches, 4 whl disc, 67 stlye hood like dodge also, the flares allow me to fit nice meaty tires all the way around supposed to be able to run 10.5 inch slick with the rear? and the disc to make sure they can stop

actually I havent driven it since 1994.. but that is irrelevant.. It will be one of the first cars I own that will be purdy after being not so purdy when I got it. Purdy dont make it go, but purdy is somewhere I havent been. besides it needed some help with all the rust in it.

I do like that scoop on your hood dodge... but him having a 6" cowl on it would be silly, dont you agree? Just seen too many Foxes out there with them, and a stock injected 5.0L under the hood... no need just ricer like lookyloo bs..

Now if you need a hood like that to cover your induction system, like a Victor with a 1150 dominator on an engine displacing over 460ci, then sure.. a cowl works better than a hole in the hood.. otherwise no... its just poser territory.
