I used a company called DASH, not DAS and it was great. I had my 69 cougar transported in an enclosed trailer from everett washington to Norther New Jersey for $1,400. I didnt have any problems except they delievered the car at 1:30 in the morning, but i dont mind picking up a new toy at 1:30 in the morning.

I used a company called The United States Government. I drove my car to New Orleans and put it on a ship to Germany. 6 weeks later, I retrieved my car at Bremerhaven. Didn't cost me a penny.

When I was in Grants Pass several months ago we saw a 2+2 and a coupe sitting on the back of a trailer. The fastback was in pretty horrid shape so we thought we could finalge the guy to a lower price. Well, it wasn't the owner. Just some guy from california that shipped cars on the side. Owned his own company, and was very nice. Everything was nice and secure and we were able to look but not touch. Maybe look for a local guy with a trailer and truck. Talk with him, etc etc that way you'll feel comfortable using his services.
