DVR is a digital video recorder that comed with my cable package. I can record programs and store them. I just have to figure out how to burn that to a disc or VHS tape. I think I can just replay the episode and record it to VHS but I am not sure if it will work. I am going to try it and will get back to you.

Comcast bought TiVo, so the DVR is basically a TiVo.

If your technologically inclined, see if you can pull the drive outta the dvr and slap it into a computer. If your not, and don't feel comfortable voiding the warrarnty and/or screwing up the dvr...don't do it!

I have been recording them on my DVR, they are pretty cool shows, not real indepth but the guy is doing just about everything you can. I have three so far and I figured out along time back how to take the DVR's off my box via a laptop and firewire along with some conversion software. The files are huge, 2-3 gigs so each show eats up major space. I planned on getting trying to get them all on DVD, I'll keep you posted.
On a side note, how nice would it be to have a two post lift in your driveway, that CA weather is great, I miss being stationed there, you can't do that in North Dakota.

The one aspect that cracks me up is the endless wallet these shows have. I don't know about you guys but the first episode involving the front brake conversion, billet master cylinders (2), and macpherson strut conversionhad me amazed at how routine they made this appear. Sorry, those parts were atleast $3K.You gotthree grandto throw around on a weekend?
I must admit, nice parts, great combination, and very goodinstruction. I guess I'll be stuck on episode 2 with my 66 through next year.
