Default Hello all

Hi, I need to buy about 20 parts for a Mustang 69. I have the cat' #'s list, and I would like to get a quote for it. so I need some guidance........
I also need to find out- what electronic ignitor is suitable for the 8 cylinder engine of this car.
[There are 3 options : Single point, orduel point, or duel point with vacum.]
I will be very happy to get an answer to all that.
Thanks -Eyal.

eBay is always good to check. I use National Parts Depot for most things. For a dizzy, I went electronic from Procomp with a vacumn advance. I have nothing against points, but i didnt want to mess with replacing points and i needed a new dizzy anyway.

I see from his profile that he is in Israel. The best bet would be to send an email with all the parts needed to several parts warehouses and get a quote from door to door and go from there. It'd probably be cheaper to get everything from one source and have it boxed and shipped as one unit.

Hi. I am looking for new parts, original or repro'.
I did my "home work" and found out the cat' #'s from Jhon's Mustang mainly.
I didget a quote for J'hons, but they give me a hard time, telling me that the car is a: fastback, and not a: coupe.
so I am trying to get other reliable sources.
So any help will be wellcome.
Have a good day.

well, your car is either a fastback, coupe, or convertible.

the coupe would look like this http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/time.../1969Coupe.jpg

the fastback http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/time...0/69/mach1.jpg

and the convert http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/time...onvertible.jpg

most body parts are not interchangeable

the part number in one shop might be different in another. A few use the same partnumbers.
So the best thing is to go to each website and check what they have to offer. Or as mentioned ask them what they would charge you.
But my guess is when you only give them the part numbers, they might not be able to help you. Rather give them your cars details and tell them what you need and how many.

I usually just check on their websites. In the end prices in the states don't differ much from shop to shop. Make sure they ship USPS as well as that will be cheaper than fedex or UPS
