There's a company by the name of transtar, who carriers transgo components if B&M doesn't have what you want.

So far it looks like thats the only company that makes a shift kit for the FMX, that I have found at least. Indeed it is high, especially if you look at the price of ones for the C4 I guess thats the price I pay for having a 351 with an FMX hahaha

so this kit would make a huge difference in feel and performance?

kinda high but i dont know if anyone else makes one?

you'll be happy with transgo or B&M. I have a B&M shift kit and manual vlv. body and it shifts hard and fast.

I changed the valve body in my cruise-o-matic and the 2-3 drum from a 3 to a 4 clutch set up. I run 3.00 gears and it still chirps the tires going into 3'rd if I'm up in the power band.

I didn't change the servo... yet. That's on order and should be here this week. Firm shifts are a good thing

As long as you can get the right bellhousing for the C4 to fit the Cleveland and Windsor, the flexplates are larger on the 351s and so are the bellhousings. I only have one bellhousing that will fit a 351 from the 5 or 6 C4s layin around.

That is a good kit for an FMX, it has billet servos in it and aall the parts to make it snap your neck if you want. early Fords dont really have a soggy shift, especially if you use the correct Type F fluid.

The C4 has an aluminum two piece valve body, you must not overtighten it. If you do it will warp and the valves will bind, then you get erractic shifting if it shifts at all. Also NO DIRT! it cannot be too clean, but just one small speck of crud will screw everything up.
