Default Frame rebuild parts

I'm rebuilding basically the whole front end of my 68 fastback from the firewall forward and was wondering what model years parts are interchangeable along those lines ( frame rails, fender aprons, shock towers, core support, etc...) I knew it would be expensive to do buying it all piece by piece with new after market parts, but I (like everyone else) didnt realize how much. Now I'm looking at parts car and want to know what years I can utilize. Will a 67 coupe front end( minus fenders and hood) work for a 68 fastback for example? Is there any websites to check out. I did try calling Dearborn, MI and a local dealership and got no help. Thanks, John

Default RE: Frame rebuild parts

A 67 should fit. The 67/68 models are on the same chasis. To be sure, check a shop manual for those years and get the dimensions.
