I'm just getting set to do mine now. Keep in mind the fine stamped texture of the inner door skins. You don't want to fill that up with primer. Remove all the paint from the door panels with paint remover.Comes off easy with Jasco paint remover. Sand very lightly after.
Instead of primer for the doors, try a light coat of clear. The final paint will stick well to that. Keep the paint thin, using a couple coats from a quality spray can. Remove all you can from the dash, steering wheel, and dash pad if possible. Tape off everything else. Take your time.

so your saying clear on the doors will help the paint stick better? what about a clear coat on top?

anyone clear their interiors?

Sort of a realted question, but does anyone know if the repop doors have the correct grain on the interior side?
