Default what carb is this (pics) and where are the adj. screws ?

Hi all,

i was convinced the carb looks like a autolite 2100, but there's a sticker on the side that says "holley remanufactured"
venturi seems to be 1.14

Does anyone know what carb I'm dealing with so that I can look up on how to adjust idle and mixture and fast idle ?

oh and yes I know... the way the spring is attached is kinda off. But I had to. The carb moves easy, but the pedal just a hint to stiff, so the spring wouldn't pull the pedal back. it's fine now

Take off the air cleaner so we can get better eyeballs on it...

Yeah, that's a 2100. I have encircled the air/fuel mixture screw in red. There is another one on the other side of the pump.

thanks very much !

While looking it up I read through this article:
http://www.ponycarburetors.com/defau...tail&id=36

The article mentions that it's wrong to believe that one side of carb feeds one side of engine. It's spread between inner 4 and outer 4.

And while reading this I remembered a post which I can't seem to find anymore.
His inner 4 cylinders would have a foxy brown spark plug while the outside ones were off (black/oily if I remember right).
That might be what he's having problems with ?!

Soaring: you posted the cylinder numbers for that fella.
Do you think this might be related ?

basically that just one side of the carb is running too rich or lean ?

Yeah, it was something about # 3 and 7 cylinders were running rich, right? I don't think this would have anything to do with that.

I just thought he said that the most outer cykinders are running rich.
So if ponycarbs say that if you have the Ford dual intake manifold, one side would feed the inner cylinders and the other the outer cylinders.
Now if there's 2 mixture screws on the carb, maybe one screw (mixture) is feeding one side of the manifold->outer or inner cyls

So I thought maybe it's just that. one of the 2 mixture screws running too rich

Thats a single plane intake you are thinking of not the dual plane that they speak of
