RE: Restoration - Lost in Time
Got my '65 fastback in '92 and dropped the 351W in it and the Global West suspension almost immediately. Due to several things, the project stalled and more or less parked until last October. With some luck it'll be completely done by the first of summer.

I have you all beat. Six months after I bought mine it went to the body shop for two and a have years for the body and paint and the odd part pre fit. Then another six months of rebuilding/ fitting new parts. Drove for three months and pulled motor again and now building new motor.....So I've hade the car 3 1/2 years and have just under 100 miles on it[sm=boohoo.gif]

mine was off the road for over a yearfor a second hand heart transplant, new diff, gearbox...hell most of themoving parts (except the overlookedbottom ball joints). I was ready to kill the workshop guy.
its been out of action a few times since but mainly short periods. guess you gotta expect that on a 40 year old car.

i think the worst thing is not to not be able to drive it. I find it the biggest pain to not have a garage where I can repair it.
So I can only do jobs that you could do in front of your house and take no longer than a day. That doesn't leave much.
