How rare is a '67 bench seat
I have found a bench seat and fenders for my restoration...factory original
The seller wants almost 900 bucks for the seats, front and rear, and 2 fenders (rust free)
Should I keep on lookin?

My local wrecking yard (Mustang Village-Fontana,CA) sells the bench seat core for 250. (900 sounds like a lot) and beware ofold sheet metal, it can drive you crazy trying to fit it.

Thanks for the info on the seat....
I am confused with the sheet metal comment...I thought the old sheetmetal was preferred over repops.
I havent heard one good comment yet on new sheetmetal, I thought the old stuff would fit like a glove.

IIRC about 10% of mustangs came with bench seats. I've had them in two cars and they are fine for a daily driver, but that was just a freek of nature, I wouldn't pay extra for a bench seats. My plan is to get some nice modern buckets for daily driving and keep the bench for show time.
I agree with the comment that original RUST FREE fenders would fit better than repops.
