Default 71-73 Wheel and Tire Photos

Do any of you guys that drive this year model want to post pic of your car with the wheels and tires you now have? I am trying to decide which way to go but at the same time I would like to see others ideas of what looks good. Please give information on the wheel size and tires on the wheels. Any cool adds like a mod would be cool to see too.

The wheels you see in my sig photo are THE original wheels to my car. They were 1973 only but they will fit most any Ford car. They are 14 X 6 wrapped in BFG's. I don't remember the exact size of the tire so I'll have to get it tomorrow. There are a number of unique characteristics that seperate these wheels from the aftermarket aluminum slots. If you're interested in using a stock type wheel, I'll be glad to send you pics of a bare wheel and help you ID factory original wheels.

BUT, if I weren't really trying to keep my car box stock... I'd go with the 15 X 8 inch Magnum 500's. You just can't beat the look of Magnums on these big body cars.

JMHO, Dean

15 x 8s on both. I don't own the '71 coupe any more, but I can get the tire size from the owner if you want me to.

No, I am looking at the photos and the more I see the more I am convinced that these cars will not look good with 17" wheels and tires. 15s or 16s are more then adequate.

Well, heres my 71, i had 17's bullits and 15 inch AR outlaw I's

Im looking for more of a rear stance and i already have 1" lift springs so i might go with some wider tires with a bigsidewall, like 71's sportsroof's black one. -Jon
