Default Evil's little sister (65 Fastback)

Although she's a couple years older, she still looks fine. Being next on the list for a facelift and tummy tuck, today I ask my wife whatshe was going to name her(after all, its her car). Well, since she has always been a fan of "I love lucy", do I need to say anything else. Evil's little sister is will be"Lucy". I have let her make all the decisions on all the build issues such as paint, seats, steering wheel, interior, tranny, rims, mods, and the whole show. So within the next couple of weeks, she will be on the retisserie getting herbottom scrubed. She has opted to loose the 6 banger in favor of a V8 (it WAS a stock 289). Since its a "T" I had to agree, even though on this one is pretty much all original. She will have one surprise though, when she turns the key, it will be a 400 HP Roush engine talking back to her. What an easy way to stay out of the "DOGHOUSE" as I guess a lot of us often inhabits. I will try tolink some photos of "Lucy" as she is now,if I can get it to work. Please try not to beat me up too much formoddingthis car, she has it in her mind exactly what she wants. I plan to save all the parts, in so far as, if someday she wants to turn it back into arestored original, it can be easily done.

Be grateful that this will keep you out of the dog house. I'm in the dog house with my wife for wanting to work on my 65 coupe which will be hers when I am done. She knows it will be hers and she still nags me. I need better ear plugs and locks for my garage. LOL. Good luck on the car.

Very clean. What a great platform to start with. I'd be in the doghouse right now as well if my wife found out I just ordered $1700 worth of stuff for my 347 from Summit.

I have to work side jobs and skim off my paycheck or I would never be able to buy anything for mine.

This is how she wants it painted, me being a old "Hot Rodder", I tried to get her to change to flames insted of the "Tribal" accent. But she is set on this, just like it is, so thats haw it will be. How do you think this will look on a 65. It will be getting a "R" model front (bumperless)and "Shellby" fiberglass hood, and active side scoops, polished torque thrust rims. I would love to re-radius the wheel openings but that would be hard to undo if she ever decides to go back original.

Man o Man...If she wants it to look like that, buy her that car...

I just don't think those would look nice on a classic fastback.
