Default Suspension Drop/Lift Kit?

Can anyone send me a photo of a mustang coupe with a lift springkit in the back and nose drop in the front. Ive seen this done on chevys but never on a stang. Would a 1"lift in the back and 1"drop in the front a 1970 coupe be too drastic?

Not in my opinion.... be one of the first to embrace the new retro 70s look that will be all the rage soon...

Jack it up dude...

yeah well i think it looks good bigger in the back but all the old men at the shows are saying itll look like crap. but hey, who cares its my car right???

so does anyone know a site or a photo that shows one jacked up? is 1" lift in the back and 1" drop in the front enought to be noticed with new leafs and kbn gas shocks.

well i like it! do you have 17" wheels? I think once i get me some 17x8 torque thrust rims it will look pretty slick!!! I think i can only buy a 1" lift for the back max. but with new leafs and a drop in the front it should stand nicley. what do you think? can you send me a blow up pick from the side of your car. i was trying to make it bigger but it wont.

I'm one of those guys from the 70's , it was all the rage then , leave it in the past where it belongs , I've seen a 69 coupe jacked up in the back , it looked like a stink bug driving down the road

really you think so? i dont know if 1" will make a big diffrence but i definitally want some noticeable stance with the front end a little down. maybe ill just stick with stock in the back and drop in the front so its nice. the rear leafs sag anyway right now. thats why my front sits up like a bigblock spring kit. it looks bad

I agree. An inch of rake tops is about all I can tolerate, and I don't even like that much. Any more and it looks ridiculous. Not to mention the negative effects on handling and weight transfer.

Thats alright, I am of the opinion that everyone and their mama's (literally)are dropping their cars,,, it has become passé and all too predictable... IMO of course...

Not that I don't like dropped cars,,,, I just don't want to do it now.... Maybe someday I will drop my non-conformist attitude and drop the car at the same time......
