Need new shocks
I need to replace my passenger side shock, it just blew. So I'm going to replace both sides at the same time, any suggestions for replacement? I'm looking for something that is going to give me better handling than the stock replacement but is still maintain a good ride quality. I don't want to go all out and spend alot of money, I want to keep it cheap because over this winter I'm going to probably go to a coil over conversion. I'm doing this out of necessity.

good coilovers are pricey but worth it. air shocks and the cheap coilover shocks will hurt your mustang if you put them in the rear.stick to a good brand gas shock.cheapest way to get better handling is monte carlo bar export brace and roller spring perchs in the front.

RE: Need new shocks
KYBs all the way around here.
Given it to do over again, I would keep the KYBs up front but go with somethinga bit softer in the back. My friend did the kybs up front and put a set of Monroes in the rear and it rides noticably nicer than mine but still isn't squishy at all.

Another question. Won't I need new shock eye bushings when I put the new shocks in? Any suggestions for type, I have heard the polyurethane is stiff and squeaks like none other.
