1967-1970 Mustang interior dimensions?
I'm new in this forum, so at first, let me say: HI!
Now, to my intended question. I'm interested in buying a 1967-1970 Ford Mustang Coupe, but some questions about the size of the car has risen. Does someone of you guys have the original interior dimensions available for 67-70 Mustang? I'd really love to check those numbers before going ahead and purchasing one.
Another possibility would be to test-sit in one, but hey, I'm from Finland and there aren't too many 60's Mustangs going around.
All help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
-JJ-

Are you a particularly tall guy? Or particularly, um, large around the middle? If your wondering if you will fit comfortably, all I can tell you is that I'm 6'4" (193 cm) and weigh about 250 lb. (113.4 kg) and I fit in a '66 coupe well. I wouldn't want to take a 4 hour drive, but I fit comfortably enough.

I'm somewhere around 6'2" and 260lbs, so one might say there's something extra around my waist But this isn't my main concern (except from the health point of view).
Anyway, my height doesn't tell the whole truth: I'm a bit more concerned about my legs having a proper space, because I sometimes see my knees hitting the dashboard on cars, where guys approximately my size fit perfectly (for example, new Ford Focus). I don't know if I have somewhat longer legs or if my sitting position is a bit odd? On the other hand, I know I can adjust my sitting position somewhat, if there is sufficient space between the steering wheel and the seat...
If I cannot find a suitable Mustang, that I could test-sit, are there some newer (european) cars around that would have roughly similar internal dimensions compared to 67-70 Mustang?

im about 6'1" ( still growing ) but i let my brother drive my car hes about 6'4" or somthing around that and hhis leg room was a little tight but he was fine, I know how you feel about hitting the dash, i drive my moms mini cooper a lot and its a stick so when i go to shift i hit my knee on the dash, i could move the seat back but then i couldnt shift

Usually, almost regardless of a car, first thing for me to do, is to move the front seat to rearmost position. This applies to even my regular driver, which is a 2003 VW Passat and this car is supposed to have quite a lot of room. That's why I'm just a bit concerned whether a Mustang has sufficient space inside for me.
Surely, if I purchase a Mustang, I'm planning to swap the original seats to something more modern, but nevertheless, I'd hate to buy a car that I cannot drive from day 1.

I have a 70 fastback; the interior is pretty much the same. I am 6' 4" and 180lbs, and I fit fairly comfortably n the FRONT seats of the car. If I cut off my legs at my hips, I'd be ok in the back too.
