I just got off the line with mustangs plus and they told me that they went through their invintory and all the braces that they had were defective like mine so they are going to talk to the company that makes them and have new ones built. They gave me my money back and told me I could do whatever I wanted to with the one I got. Apparently I was the thirdperson to call and complain. So now I have to shop around for a new brace.

The adjustable ones are nice but they are too high tech for me.
Cutting, matching the flanges, and welding the bar back on with the flanges in place works great and gives a perfect fit. If you can't weld, look in the phone book. They will even come to you. And they work cheap. (It's a very easy job for a welder worth his salt.)

If it's welded in place you know it fits.

Mustang rules section 8 paragraph 3 subsection 5- No two shock tower gaps are created equal.

* If you've got a chrome bar, sell it or break out the hammer.
