Thinking about buying this valance:

I have one of those on my car. Not a problem fitting it according to my body man. He notched the hood latch & grille support rather than notching the valance. Just a suggestion. It looks a lot cleaner. Not sure you can see it in these pictures.

i went all out and went with the regular "R"model valance i think its a little more sutiable for the lines of as fastback

Hey jspagna1 I don't think I have ever seen a painted bumper like that, it looks really cool and original. How did you do it?
Sorry to highjack a little, I'm really intrigued with that bumper.

But thats a nice valance. I have seen it a few cars and I planned on putting that one on my 66 before I sold it. And that is a really good price, on average $40 less than what I'm used to seeing.

first you need to wash and wax and grease remove them then scuff them with some 220 grit sand paper then re wax and grease them tack them off then paint them with n etch primer, allow the correct flash time then apply regular 2k primer let dry sand with 400 seal base clear with all the apporpriate prep procedures etc in between the steps there
