I used this one from Mustang Depot http://www.mustangdepot.com/OnLineCa...kes/dbc-sd.htm

The kit I used was the DBC-6569-RACE. You can get by cheaper with the non-slotter rotors. You do know that your I6 spindels are the same as V8 and you can use them right? The last pic has a spacer bolted to the rotor. That is to make my wheels fit. you will not need that.

When I was going to convert my 66 before I sold it I was going to use this kit http://www.fatmanfab.com/catalogpage.php?page=21 I already had it bought and ready to install. It was a really nice kit, but the air force moved my and I sold the car and kit. The guy who bought it is really happy with it so far. Its great for a daily driver or a mild performance mod. It also gives you rack and pinion and coil over. I lined up all the parts and everything and it ended up only costing me $2500 for everything. I had the brakes from a 03 GT and nice shocks for a fox body, I can't remember what brand but the guys on the 5.0 forum suggested them to me. Its better than the mustang II kit and it's completely reversible, and it keeps the original geometry the car was designed with.

I am in the process of installing the upgrade that I got from www.discbrakeswap.com. I have heard a lot of good things about it. I am waiting on my new coil springs (cjponyparts.com) to start the "official" install. Shipped it cost me less than $600 with mostly new parts. It comes complete with a DVD instructional.

Are the I6 spindles the sane sizeas the V8. Something tells me the I6 spindles are different. If someone knows for sure, chime in. If they are smaller, they may not support the extra weight of the V8. I plan to start on a I6 to V8 restomodina few weeks (I've said this a month ago) and plan to update all the suspension, etc.

Mine was originally an I6. I used the Granada spindles and changed all the steering components from 6 to 8cyl parts. (Tie rods, Idler, draglink)

discbrakeswap.com - kit is pretty nice, then order the granada brake line conversion from mustangplus and you are ready to bolt on and go

The spindles are the same for the I6 and V8 in 67. I was looking for the same info and got different answers from everyone. I called the ford dealer and he looked it up and said the part numbers were the same. I also got part numbers off spindles from a V8 car and compaired them with mine and they were the same. I haven't got my brakes to try them yet butI am going with a kit from wilwood. I hope my info isn't wrong or it might be an expensive lesson.
