I rebuilt it myself using a kit from comp cams. First rebuild, im actually VERY pleased with the results, but if i could go back id add a friskier cam and maybe even switch out the stock rocker assembly. Its a tight fit with the 390, but WELL worth it .

Post some pictures man. I love the look of 69's. Id go with the 351w with open-hooker longtube headers. She will sounds like a beast !

LOL,,, I wonder what gives you that Idea!! http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...02182256975432

Go with the hookers!! I would go with the 351,, its still a small block and your 69 will be a great candidate considering the bigger engine bay..

Build a 351! Its not any more expenisive than a 302, and it'll fit right in there. The power and sound will make it the perfect cruiser/ricekiller.

351-408 all the way, dont even bother with a 302 unless its turboed..........a 460 will fit pretty good as well......but as far as a small block a 393-408 doesent cost much more than a 351w with the same level of parts.
