Time, age, moisture, ESD (electrostatic discharge), faulty part, poorly sodered connections, improper voltage running through fried it. All sorts of things.

no its not low, i charge often cause when its not running much i have my neon lights on so i can do work cause my lighting in my garage sucks, and it drains the battery pretty fast, the battery is 2 years old so i might as well get a new 1

Id throw them neon lights away every ones i seen used in a car or bike the transformer shorts out and starts a fire leds are safer and last alot longer.Or go to sears and buy a 20 dollar drop light.
