Default fuel/brake lines help please

I bought the pre-bent fuel/brake lines for my 66 coupe and have a question on installation. My question is where the lines go after they get past the 2 clips on the "hump"? Do both lines route above the transmission mount (between the mount and the transmission) or do they route underneath? When I look at the shop manual, it almost looks like the lines route underneath the frame rail - do the lines stay on the inside of the frame rail?

My pre-bent fuel line goes all the way to the fuel pump when it is straight across the a-arm - is this right? It seems very close to the exhaust manifold? When I took it off, they had terminated the line after the shock tower and ran a rubber hose over the shock tower to the mechanical fuel pump. Since I put a frontrunner system on this, it doesn't have the mechanical fuel pump - can I route the fuel line around the power booster and down the firewall? Will it matter if I turn the fuel input hard line around so it is facing the rear of the car (it is for a BG carb with dual line input)?

Trying to get the plumbing before I put the new posi rear end back in the car, thanks in advance for the help

would it be possible for you to get us some pictures so we have a better idea of what you are talking about?

here is a pic from the back - it's a little hard to see but it is the line that has the clip on it. the 2nd pic is a shot looking down at the inside of the torque box and inside of the frame rail.

One idea-run the fuel lineup the torque box and then along the frame rail, then I would route around the shock tower and point the end up to attach to the fuel line that runs up to the carb in the front (like it traditionally is).

A second thought is to run it up the torque box and then around the power booster going down the firewall toward the right side of the car. In this case, turn the carb inlet pipe to the rear and then attach a line to the carb.

The second idea is sorta unconventional and I am not sure that the BG carb will work well like this - think I will call Jegs tonight. Thanks

Conner is right. I installed mine a few months ago. The fuel lines goes inside the drivers fender and comes out a hole just in front of the shock tower. from there a rubber hose is used. It shouldnt be near the exhaust manifold at all since it will be in the fender. If you look at the center pic, that 3-4 inch bend should go around the frame away from the motor

Thanks guys. Conner, if you could put a pic up tomorrow, that would be great (I think I get it but a picture is worth a thousand words ). It looks like I will need to take the 2 clips out under the hump.

So if I get this right, the fuel line should go around the front of where the frame rail begins to curve upward (if it went under the bottom and something ever hit the frame rail, I would be concerned it would damage the line - but if it went under where it is bent upward, it wouldn't hit)? There is a natural bend in that spot so it makes sense, I can't wait to see the picture, thanks again!
