I'm getting real close to putting the suspension bak in my 1970 fastback. I want to drop it some, but I would like to see what you guys have. I'm thinking about using 17" wheels. Please tell me the hardware you used (ie:reverse, mid, or standard eye, lowering blocks, shelby drop, whatever...)and the drop front and rear. Please only 69's and 70's.

I will be getting my 17x8 and 17x9 rims on my 69fastback very soon, maybe even tomorrow! ill post some pics if it goes down
What Size tires are you running right now? and what are you going to do with the Cragars?
15's right now, at first I was going to sell the cragars... but iam thinking I should hold onto them if I ever need or want to sell my car. I have been told by a few sales men that cragars are becoming hard to find.
Front has upper control arms lowered one inch, 720 pound rate coil springs, negative wedge kit with bumpsteer correction kit. Rear has five leaf springs with one inch lowering blocks.Globe west subframe connectors. Has 16 x 8 Haibrand wheels with 245/50R16 front and 265/50R16 rear.
Thanks so far. Remember though that I would like to know if there have been any suspension mods or if ot's sitting stock. A picture without this info doesn't really do me any good for what I'm trying to find out.
Here is mine, sitting high in the front. 16x8 Vintage Wheel Works all around with 235 in front and 245 in rear. Suspension is all stock, but with wedge kit and and Shelby drop. I'd like the front to come down a bit.
NorCalTroy, Is that Acapulco Blue?Is your car at stock ride height? Finally, what are your tire sizes?
My car was originally Gulfstream Aqua. About ten years ago it was repainted with a 1990 Subaru color. In pictures it looks MUCH more blue than it actually is. I'm told that if the original color and mine were side-by-side, the only difference would be the metallic flake in my paint.
My suspension is all stock. I'll post some measurements and tire sizes when I get home from work... should be around 5:30 pm or so.
