Default power cylinder/ header clearances?

What type of spacers are you guys using between the frame railand the mounting bracket for the power cylinder ramto clear the headers? I have 289 w/ Tri-y'sw/ 2.5" collector. Which leads me to my next question. How much clearance should I have between my headers and my power cylinder ram?
All info would help Thanks.

Default RE: power cylinder/ header clearances?

I bought the bracket along with the TRI-Y headers from Tony Branda. Use part number TYH3.
It costs $16.00 and bolts right in place of the stock power cylinder mount.

It gives the cylinder about +-1" of clearence .

Hope that helps.

I've installed the same bracket, but I still need a 1/2" shim between the frame rail and the bracket for support to keep any clearance between the header and the power cylinder rim.
Thanks
