superchargers on a 65
okI thinkI found a good package for my car and this seems the cheapest and less troublesome way to go, instead of stroking the motor iam going with a paxton sb engine supercharger, and some afr heads
does anyone know if these addons will have conflict with the 270 magnum hydraulic flat tappet cam or will i have to upgrade?
also there is a 351w already in the 65 so does anyone know if the supercharger will fit without a normal hood or will it need a hood scoop? The jegs guy said the only way to know is if you try it on, but thats an extra money if i have to buy a new hood.

im too much of a newb to answer that myself...i dont know what is involved in upgrading...from what ive heard it will be well worth it. AFR is getting over 400 hp without the paxton on this setup. maybe upgrade and hold off on the paxton?

i say dont go with supercharger. i wanted to, but decided to go with a 347. at my work, at least, we can make 440hp outta the 347 with 185 afr heads, hydraulic cam, etc. i suggest stroking instead of forced indutciton. or better yet, BOTH!!

i would think that would be to much of a beastfor my blood,408 stroker supercharged with afr heads. It seems moreof apain to build a stroker than installing a supercharger, even though i have not done neither.
