RE: Need some help
cool site. I cant wait to get one.
for the past couple months I have been saving up for a 2008Shelby GT, mainly as a weekend car. So far I have about $10,000 to put down on it, and I get a raise in december but I wont buy it until spring 08' ( I dont want to buy the car in the winter and then just store it until the spring) so by that time I should have about $15k. I'd like to spend about 5-8 grand on the66'-69' itself, and then put another 3k in mods on before I get the SGT so I have a couple toy cars plus my current modified 07' mustang.

Personally I would buy a later year classic if your gonna mod it. They are alittle easier to work with. I think the 64-66 models look best original, but hey, thats just me..

RE: Need some help
well you can through a bigger engine into a 64-66...anywhere up to 408 (a stroked 351) without any major modifications. you might need to notch the shock towers for that though but im not really sure.
