Default New Guy Here! Need your opinions....

Hello everyone, this is my very first post in a Mustang forum but you can bet your bottom dollar it will not be my last.

After going weeks and weeks of reviewing this forum, speaking to my Uncle who also happens to be a HUGE Mustang enthusiast, I decided to jump in with both feet.

I purchased a 1965 Mustang Coupe C-code that has a rebuilt 289 and C4 tranny but needs plenty of TLC in the paint and interior department. Also, my front end needs some work - standard stuff like headlight buckets & doors, upper and lower valances, grille, etc.... and I was wondering where I should order them from. While I cruise Craigslist like there's no tomorrow I've been told I can also order from:

www.mustangsplus.com
www.mustangparsthouse.com

These two places are in CA and are somewhat near the Bay Area where I live. So my first question is, have any of you had any dealings with these companies? Any comments on the quality and product fit?

I did a search on these two companies and I only found threads with recommendations, nothing that really compared the two.

Any ideas?

I use http://cjponyparts.com/

They're in Harrisburg PA, which is 2 hours from me, but good service none the less.

I second NPD and Mustangs Unlimited. I have used dallas mustang, mustangs plus, sacramento mustang, supierior mustang and laural mountian- these are more often back order houses or problem matic venders. Unlimited and NPD are awsom, never had an issue with either.
BTW killer ride, youll have a blast. Good luck

My best luck has been NPD. Free shipping over $300 in parts excluding oversized. Most if not all of the new sheet metal from all vendors you may experience sometweaking to fit properly.

in your first order throw in the rubber padding for the brake pedal, as otherwise you'll slip of the brake ...... was on of the first parts I ordered as well ;-)

I used both NPD and Mustangsplus. Both are decent to deal with but I have to give the nod to NPD due to the free shipping and the quality of the parts.
