Thanks for the replies. The 351 is already rebuilt with all new parts, mid cam, .40 over and ready to go, but so is the 5.0(ready to go). The only reason I am considering the 5.0 is the driveability, the fuel injection sor starting and running smooth everytime, etc. Remember this is a car for my wife. Although she is not afraid of speed or power or using it, we are not really building a hot rod. Another thing is the shaker setup wont work with the 5.0. I would like to see more about efi for the 351, that sounds kinda neat and different.

I think the holley kit still uses a stock style air cleaner. So with a little work you could make a new base for the shaker set-up. Just do not cut the original base find an old standard base and start from there.

you could always find a holley projection efi used, hmmmmmm I have one, I had it on my 351w, comp 268h cam, ported 69 heads and edelbrock performer manifold, it flat out hauled azz and drivability was excellent, its for sale.......it will bolt on to any aftermarket int, PM me as I have that and an intake that will fit the shaker....a ported torker2, jet hot coated I'll sell as a package for 500.00 then you can have efi and a 351w that fits under the stock hood and you can adjust from the drivers seat.........
