Default Electic fuel pump in a 1967 coupe??

Getting ready to drop in a carb 1987 H.O. 302 with T-5 into my 1967 coupe. My question is how do I get power for the electric fuel pump that I will need to run?

You need a keyed source of power. On our 66 with an aftermarket wiring harness we just hooked up to the terminal that said "fuel pump".

Cant say exactly where the best place to get juice for this on a stock 67.

Back of ignition switch??

It needs to be wired to a source of power when the key is turned on!!Wire it to the ignition switch if possible![sm=signs003.gif]

On the back of the ignition switch, directly in the middle come out the back, is a threaded stud. This is a switched terminal. Connect it there.

I would buy a fuel pump relay kit (about $24 from Summit Racing)

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...p;autoview=sku

It is a pretty easy install. Also, I'd go to a pick-n-pull and get an inertia switch and wire it in series with the power lead for safety. FWIW, I have a Holley Redpump (no regulator needed for carb) with about 200 miles on it and an unused Ron Morris Performance mounting bracket if you're interested. $85 shipped within continental U.S.
