Starting Problems

RE: Starting Problems
Check for fuel at the fuel pump. If not, at the tank there is a short rubber hose between the steel line and the sending unit. Take the hose of the line,[clamp it with vise grips or something] so you can stop the flow if it is not on that end. Loosen the visegrips and see if fuel in coming out there. If it does, take compressed air and blow the line. Line needs to be open on both ends.

RE: Starting Problems
My dad told me about the gas thing, however I bought a new battery today and just put it in. When I went to hook the ground up (the positive was already on), the son of a bitch sparked at me, leaving some of the battery cable to be burnt or whatever. I went to hook it up again, and it sparked but not as much and it sounded like it started to crank or maybe it was voltage going through. Now, it wont spark at all when i touch the negative terminal, and it wont crank. If I turn the key, the light on the dash that says Brake System or something lights up, as it used to, but no crank. I voltmetered the battery and it shows a good 12.xx reading.
Is there a fuse I blew somewhere that I can't find?
