not a bad price assuming it does not need a rebuild, but it is 6" to wide. A 64.5-66 Mustang housing is 52.25" flang to flang. Also does not say wht type of mountings are on the housing. Sounds like a truck housing which could be set up for leaf springs or coils.

now that one will fit. the 67-68 housings are 1" wider than the first generation and you should be good to go. Thread hijacker!!! [8D]

how much do i need to narrow this rear end? its a 9in out of a 85 bronco

ok the housing has some extra mounts on them and no springs pads. its ok, im gona get the extra ones cut off, the housing narrowed and spring pads put on for 300. the gears are 3.00:1 and in good shape. pretty good deal, all n all looks like im in 600$ and its ready to go in!

What are you going to do for axles?? have the current ones narrowed or get some from else where??
