Installing Rear Sway Bar

Installing Rear Sway Bar
I have a 1968 Ford Mustang with a 302. I bought a 7/8" inch rear sway bar from addco and am having some trouble installing it. The directions are a bit sketchy so does anyone have a guide with real pictures of one being installed.

RE: Installing Rear Sway Bar
What kind of trouble are you having?
I installed front and rears last summer on my 66 coupe.
The only problem I had with the rear was that I didn't have enough of the chassis weight on the jack stands under therear axle. It looked like the links were WAY to SHORT. I had to move the front stands forward of the front axle to get the rear to sit low enough to connect everything. The front bar fit perfectly.
If that dosen't help let me know I might be able to post some pictures.

RE: Installing Rear Sway Bar
I have shocks that are in the way but those can be taken off. The main problem in my exhaust is in the way. I have dual pipes an one get in the way. Another thing is the manufactorers illustrations are terrible. All i need is a pic of how it looks installed and maybe some pics of how to slide it under the car. Also were would be the best place to drill and mount theu-bolts that connect the frame and the sway bar to each other.

RE: Installing Rear Sway Bar
On mine, I had to put a different rear brake line to get it out of the way - the guy at classic auto in pico rivera told me to use ahipo line which moves the brake line fittings forward a bit to get it out of the way of the exhaust. I did have pre-formed lines and re-bent those a bit and it worked fine. The curve of the bar should bend up - here is a pic of mine (I just tried to take a picture but the car is not mobile and the sun is in the way). Drilling the holes in the frame rail was a bit of a **** and mine were a bit angled but it works.
