Delema-to low front tires wont fit
Okay so i had my car into a buddy of mines shop to get it aligned and.... the front wheels and tires wont fit running anything lower than -3 camber. Considering i don't want to run thru a set of tires every 10k i gotta do something. I absolutley love the way its sitting right now infact i still kinda wanna lower my rearend so here are my options and lemme know what you guys think. 1) get 16 by 6 rims for the front. The problem there is that my headers already hit on speed bumps, you should see the marks trying to get it outa my friends shop, and smaller tires will lower it more. 2) Raise the car... BOOOOOOOOO 3) If theres a kit to change the setup of the lower control arm to be adjustable so that i can pull the tire in. Even with this ill will still need to raise the car about 1/2 inch. So those are the options that i know of anyone with any more advice whos done this to a 64 1/2 to 66 would be much very helpful
cheers,
Kurtis

What size wheels do you have now? And what is the backspacing? The car does look awfully low though, so fitment is going to be an issue at that low a ride height.

Did you cut the springs? It takes time to settle. You may need tobuy new springs. Did you do the Shelby drop? If not, it may help with thetire clearancebut I think it will exacerbate the problem of being too low.

I ran 17x8 4.75 BS 235 45 17 on the front of my 65 with -1 to -1.5 for years without rubbing issue and without rolled fenders.
Do you have the shelby drop? You should have the drop this will help eliminate tire tip our to the fender when turning.
Right now I have 17x8 4.75 245 40 17 on the front of my 65 and I do run -3...I am also not going through tires as fast as you might think. I have about 5-6k on this setup and alignment and the tires aren't showing any abnormal wear.
