The nice thing though is that the good aftermarket 351C heads like CHI's and the Brodix Neal series(uber hardcore NASCAR race heads) are sold in configurations that bolt on to 351W's.

Edelbrock's new Pro Port CNC heads though are a standard configuration inline valve head, and their 190cc port head flows the same as CHI's 185 port 3V head, and it's cheaper.

I also noticed that within the last week or so they added flow data to their site for the Pro Port CNC 170cc port(the "new" RPM head). I'm VERY impressed. Itbeats upon the AFR 185 quite handily. And with a smaller port, which means the port velocity is INSANE. So on a 289/302 the Pro Port CNC 170's will make MORE power than an AFR 185 would, and drive better.

Yup. For the Brodix neals you can google Brodix's site, and look in the catalog. But those are SERIOUS heads, and VERY expensive. I mean we're talking like $2-3,000 PER HEAD....BARE.

yeah, im not gunna poy that for an assembled PAIR, im on a budget which is why i wasondering about the C heads. but the CHI heads arent too badly priced. i just need to know whick ones would be best for a 408 possibly turbo (i kno, i kno... i need a bigger chamber if i go turbo)

does anyone know which ones would be good for that?

ive been looking around on CHI's site and you say that they bolt up to a windsor? i dont really see anything on there that says that... im most interested in the 3v 185 and the 2v 190. man i feel stupid asking this.. i guess its a newbie question. whats the difference between 2v-3v-4v heads? and also, whats the difference between the two heads i listed, what would be the best for a turbo engine as i mentioned in the last post here

the 2v heads were made to work with 2bbl cleve intakes IIRC, and the same goes for the 4v / 4bbl stuff. the 3v is kinda a hybrid of their own design, best of both worlds and is the head you should be looking at.
