feel the same way.. finally got motivated enough to start cleaning my engine bay last week. bought some stuff to freshen it up and now I am feeling better. its a wonder what something like new plug wires and some touch-up paint will do for a little visual satisfaction lol

All the time bro, comes with the territory for me. And mine is a shelf, but only for Mustang parts that I don't have any other place for. What motivates me most is:

1) When I don't have room to move around, I have to install some of the parts laying there waiting their turn.

2) I go to a parts store and buy some chrome do-dad for the engine.

Either of those two works for me, most of the time. I'm planning a parts house trip this week as a matter of fact.

Do you ever feel like you are not making any progress on you're car?
Well Thats how I have been feeling lately..so I decided to buy some pointless crap to make me feel like I was improving it.
I went to Pep Boys and bought a leather (pleather? not sure) steering wheel wrap, put the original steering wheel back in, bought some cheepo aluminum pedal covers, and a new air cleaner. and a mustang parking only sign...
I know useless garbage..but it made me feel better

I feel like that every time I go to Pep Boys!!!!

That's why I only shop at Advance Auto!

Yeah, It sucks. How about this one. 66 coupe sitting in driveway, 3 years, no money to put into it, no time to put into it, getting ready to go back to school so the no money I did have to put into it is even less money. I've now gotta either get a place to store it by the end of summer or gut what is left of it and sell it as a shell.

Man o man, I need a truck. Anyone think a 93 Toyota Corolla station wagon can haul a gutted 66 coupe???

I do not think I have ever been in a Advanced Auto...
I usually go to Auto Zone cuz they are cheap and open late...I do Like Pep Boys though.
It seems like everytime I go to a parts store there is one of those dudes who is buying a coffee can exhuast system or some neon lights.[sm=lol.gif] Makes me laugh everytime.

Motivation? Come on David, how 'bout summer being just around the corner and your ride will still be stuck in the driveway? Git 'er done! Enter it in Fabulous Fords Forever on April 20th.

Jeff
hahaha I have even better motivation than that, spring break on march 29th (i think)! Thats why it's almost done now! I don't want it in the driveway when I can take it down to the beach with my friends....

And I should definitely enter it in the car show, we'll see how it goes. Is that the queen mary one? or did the queen mary one already pass...
haha, crusin for chicks in the 'stang...nice. which reminds me, i guess if i go to pepperdine im going to bring my car . the ladies better watch out....hahahahahaha [8D]
