But even though its dropping to 4.9 while trying to start, when I'm jumping it with my truck it does not drop in voltage...but it does make a weird sound on my truck when im trying to start the mustang, kind of like my truck was shorting out or loosing power..

Not sure about the voltage situation, but I would have to agree that it is a connection issue. Try taking off all the connections and even if they look good, file the down a little or at least clean them with something, and i believe that should make a difference. I know what the clicking sound you are hearing is like, and I get the same thing when my battery dies. You could try a new, fully charged battery and see if that makes a difference as well.

So like I had said earlier I changed out the solenoid still the same thing so I returned the solenoid since mine looked new anyway and bought a new starter. Well the same thing was still going on. The whole time I had been checking my battery with a meter and getting 12.5-12.7. Well someone on the forum told me to check it while trying to crank it over so I did and only got like 4.1 or so. So I took the battery to get checked thinking it surely has a bad cell but all their machine said was that it was only pushing out 3.9 on cca. Didn't say that I had a bad cell but it said to replace battery. Well I didn't want to spend more money on a battery like I did on a solenoid and a starter so I came home and hooked up my boat battery to the mustang and she cranked right over. So I think I will go get me a battery this morning and hope that I don't have something shorting it out on the car or something draining it while its off. Now do yall think my battery can be saved?

Battery is junk. replace it. the most a battery should drop on start is about 2.5 to 3.5 volts. (cranking voltage about 9.5 or above).
