Default the Cleveland lives!

Hi all

After a bad case of indigestion from trying to eat the aircleaner bolt, i got the Fairlane engine back together and running last night. It was a bit rugged for a while due to sitting for months. The carb was all dried out and crusty fuel in the lines. Topped her up with a bit of new fuel and had a good idle within a few minutes.

went for a blast out the back (somewhat more sedately that Valley Firearms) and only found one issue. She pulls no problems but dies if i give her WOT. Nothing had been changed other than sitting aroundso I am a little curious as to what I might have missed. Carb is a smaller holley 4bbl (less than 600cfm). Everything else is stock.

any ideas?

haha...we have a saying when luck goes a blokes way

"he's been kissed on the d**k by a fairy"

No leaks, no misses, needs a bit of air in the tyres. Other than this WOT issue, the oldgirl feelsjust like pulling on an old boot.
