no question about that. engine off.
The booster is only there to make it a bit easier on your foot.
makes no difference in the bleeding process (how much air is going out at what rate).
And as Tad says with powerbrakes you never know if the thing is properly bled.
So aye .. leave engine off

when you don't have any speed-bleeders or bleeding container, then you'll need someone else to help you.
Do you know exactly how the bleeding process works (just to make sure)
