Default New Sending Unit..? 1968 coupe

I've been looking everywhere for a new sending unit for my gas tank on my 1968 coupe. I have a 1967 but the wiring harness is different on 67s, so I can't use that one for parts. Anyone know a place I can get the wiring for the gas tank only? The painless kits are nice, but expensive and have way more than what I need. I've been looking on craigslist for cars people are parting out but haven't had any luck for my area[N. CA]. Any input appreciated, thanks

Mine came from NPD. It's a stock item.
