Question for anyone with '69-70 high-back seats...

Great pics...but can you do me one more favor? I need to figure out how that latch is attached to the lever. The two rotate independantly and there's supposed to be a linkage rod in there somewhere, but I can't see it in your pic.

1969 seats have the release latch handles high on the side, and the 1970's have them low as in the previous photos. It doesn't matter if the trim is standard, or deluxe comfort weave (Mach 1). Seat latches stay the same.

seat latch
I don't think there is supposed to be a "linkage" like you are talking about.
It looks to me like it is all just one piece on mine.
Yours may be broken or worn.If it's a 1970 seat like bodyputtyless is saying.
It works like a camshaft,The switch and the release latch are all on the same "cam" and turning the one end results in the other end releasing the latch without a linkage.?

Yeah, apparently the center shaft is worn. My latch doesn't rotate with the shaft=/
And no, NPD doesn't have those parts, at least not in their catalog. Not even Glazier's appears to have them, although I'll call later to make sure.

I did a quick scan at NPD,Now that I looked harder your right.
This may be a salvage yard part.
I looked around,Muscle car parts/sacramento mustang/mustang depot....Nothing
You may have to look on EGAY or salvage yards..
