haha, definitely...you'll be glad you did in the long run. I run flowmasters on my mustang and truck, and have been completely satisfied since the day i had them installed.

"yes, i did just make a Lion King reference. it was a good movie"

That was good! Hey, I'm an old guy (44) and really the super harsh stuff doesnt appeal much to me anymore. I had a 73 Nova with cherry bombs, 2 1/2 in and 2 1/4 out to back. You want to talk about some sound...... That was 25 years ago though.

I've got some great ideas to work with now,

Thanks

The p.o. had cherry bombs put on. When I replaced them with the flow master 40's there was a huge difference in sound with the flowmaster.

I will say this about the bombs. If there was no such thing as flowmasters, the cherry bomb is the way to go!!!

rst08,
I'm not a huge coupe fan but yours has to be one of the best I've seen with that color and the black top. Is that vinyl or paint, I cant tell in the picture.

I vote for the flowmaster 40 series have had them on every mustang I have owned and I love them. Not the best performing muffler out there but in my opinion the best sounding!
