Well I decided to just rebuild the 351w back to stock for now because of money and time restraints. I was told by my local Mustang shop, that while I am at it I should port and polish my stock heads. He said it is one of the best/cheapest upgrades to the stock 351w.

I am having them rebuilt anyway, might as well at least throw that in the mix.



Comments, Suggestion? Keep in mind new heads are not in the budget right now.

I know the block is a 79'. I will have to check to see if the heads are later.

well, if you cant get even some d00e's or anything like that to port and polish. you might as well if your going to do it, i dont think it will wake it up too much esp if they are the smog heads :P i bet you could make some somewhat decent heads for that motor if you mill them down to make the CC smaller ( what is your currently?)
