Default Monte Carlo bar

There is a guy on another forum that is selling his chrome monte carlo bar that he had on his 66. What is the difference between a 66 and 67 engine bay? Want to know if this would fit mine, if it will I am going to buy it.

i think that the 66's were narrower than the 67/ 68 since you can put a BB in a 67/68 and not a 65/66.. so i doubt it would work?

I'm not sure. Some sites have bars for 65-70 mustangs and then you have 65-66 and 67-68 ones.

Here's the width of a 65-66 engine bay. Go measure yours and see how it compares

How much does he want for it? They're really not that expensive brand new.

He bought it used so I would guess no more than $15. They are $25 new. I have a limit though of about $35 for monte carlo bar and shipping.

Measured and my 67 is either smaller or just the same as what you have James.

I sent him a PM asking him to measure it for me so I can make sure it fits before I ask how much for it.
