Default how much cfm does my 289 fan need to pull?

wondering about fans? and also, installing a small secondary electric fan on the front of radiators..does that make a significant difference in cooling?

i have a 4 row rad, flexalite fan with correctly installed shroud, and a new water pump, yet i still overheat if i sit at idle for too long..would a secondary fan help that?

what size are you running now?

my SPAL 16" is advertised to move 2360 cfm and seems to work fine

i overheat when sitting for too long too...but then again my radiator is 41 years old and probably needs replacing.

the idea that fans in the front would help push air through while not moving seems like a logical one though
