Default My new driveshaft came today

Even in the blizzard, UPS delivers! There it was propped up against the house in a snow drift. It came with a new rear yoke to upgrade to a 1330 u-joint and everything bolted right in for a perfect fit. Denny's comes through again! Now, if only there is no vibration...

Got to love UPS. 1330 is way better...good peace of mind!

nba1341, it takes about 5 minutes to install a driveshaft if the other one is out. Really very simple, especially if the u joints and yokes are already on. May I ask why you want to install an aluminum one?

It took me about 10 because I had to set up the impact gun to install the rear yoke and then couldn't get the rubber shipping plug to go in or come out of the tailshaft of the TKO600. I finally yanked it out with a pair of needle nose.

i was hoping to cut down some of the extreme vibration from the 3.80 gears spinning at 3000 rpm on freeway

or will this not even help me?

how much did that cost you and let me know how it feels at 5000 rpm

I have given up on pinion angles on my car the next set of shims seems to make no difference over the last set.
