Default Left and Right from inside of car or facing car?

I am installing some frame mounts on my car and having trouble figuring out which is the left or right. The frame mounts are marked L and R, but do you right facing the car or from inside the car? If some one could let me know I would really appriciate it. Would hate to have to pull the engine and swith the mounts if they are the wrong way.

Always when sitting in the drivers seat.

Correct, sitting in the drivers seat or standing behind the car if that makes it any easier. Applies to all vehicles.

I agree with the others posts.

Driver's side - LEFT.

Passenger's side - RIGHT.
