Default Help With Choosing Gauge Color

I have decided to go with one of these two autometer gauge clusters from JME. The problem is I cant decide on white or black gauges. Here is the deal.

I love the white, but I think it might be just a bit over the top for my color combination. I have used Orange/Black/Chrome. Is the white too much or too modern? The white really pops.

I also love the black. I think it will blend and give the dash the more stock look with out over powering the interior.

What do you guys think?

Likes, dislikes? Thanks for the help.

Here is what im working with on the inside!

Black. The only way the white looks right is with the aluminum inserts imo. We went with the Classic Instruments 67/68 Mustang gauge pack. Not sure if you've looked into them or not but I can't say a thing bad about their service or product. They even changed the gauges and placement along with all the wiring for me. I know if I'm looking for another gauge pack I'd certainly call them again. Checkout my post on the pack I bought the wife for Christmas here.

By far, I think those are the best but IMO $1200 is too high, thats why I looked at the JME. Did you pay full retail for yours? I have yet too see them at any shows in cali. I did hear they have $850 specials during shows from the guys at the local NPD.

Great Cluster!!!

With your interior and dash, all black, I say the black ones. The white ones would probably stand out, but then again may stand out too much.

I too would go with the black ones. I wanted to go with the white ones on mine a while ago, but other priorites came first. Good thing I didn't buy them I think it will over take away from the black look over all. Would be easier to see though.

I guess it's obvious: Black. Definitely with your interior. The white stand out and look out of place.
