Default lighter engine raised car in front ...

Hiya all,

since i have the new engine in the front of vehicle is 2-3" higher than it was before.
I guess that's all the aluminum parts for you :-)
I guess I lost 30-50kg all in all
I hope it'll settle down a good bit when driving for a bit.
Anyone ever had that before? anything that I could do without cutting springs, or is this a "wait and see" thing

When the engine was out the car looked like it's taking off to the moon when parked. I missed to make a picture with me and a crash helmet in there and photoshop racing numbers on the side LOL

i'd rather drive a bit to see if it settles first

I'll get some before/after pictures as well. Will be at car to sort out fuel lines and ignition

If the engine was out for awhile. it'll take some time to settle down. If it's not down in a few weeks then you may want to change the springs.

The hood will add a little bit of weight when it goes back on.... Is your battery in yet?

Also your fluids will add some weight if they are not in yet either, oil, coolant, tranny fluid, etc..
