Default New Shackles, New Problem

I just removed the old shackles, bolts and bushings from my 65 coupe. I've got the new poly bushings, and sleeves in the frame rails, but now I can't get the new bolts in. There's just not enough clearance on either side of the rails to get the bolts through.

Any ideas?

the best solution to your specific problem is to just leave them off and take it to the local junkyard.....maybe someone can rabage that POS

remove the bushing and put it onto the bolt. It will allow you to angle the bolt enough to get it in.

Oh, by the way the dude above with a pic of his dads friends garage is a little dusch bag queerbait

Now, I wouldn't say that.

I'd would say he's a surly, beef-witted, nut-hook of a slanderouse botch of his mother's womb who has more hairs than wit, and more faults than hairs.

But, thats just view of the subject...
