Unhappy Won't turn over

So tonight was the night for me to see for the first time if the engine would run. I've spent all week getting everything back together and all the wiring done. I'm doing the EFI conversion and have been really scared that I haven't gotten the wiring correct. So i hook it all up and turn the key...only for nothing to happen. Nothing changed, it was as if i didn't even turn the key at all. I know I'm doing the EFI thing but when it comes to starting the engine it's all the same as back in 72. Nothing about the EFI actually cranks the engine. Could you guys maybe help me out on some ideas here?

I am not one for stating the obvious but.......did you remember to plug it into the wall??and make sure you check out your canooter valves....thats a common problem in EFI conversions
